There was a Re-boxing prior to another Unboxing....
The firm on ebay sent me a different machine to the one that I had ordered and I didn't immediately notice! The wrong computer had to be re-boxed and shipped back, and the correct computer had to be shipped to me and unboxed.
I'll spare you the photos of another unboxing which would just say here is a well packaged computer again. I was initially chuffed with the purchase and I wanted to document its safe arrival with photos.
One non-working tracking number in between all that, but the collection and especially delivery was managed exactly as I'd asked.
I hadn't checked the model number, which was admittedly a rookie mistake. But, I did keep the packaging, in case I needed to return the computer. I did check for "free" screws when the correct computer arrived.
The supplier did send me a free, spare screw this time. It was happy to bounce around the computer's insides during transit, just a-waiting to be added to a jar containing all the other loose screws that I've found over the years.
Anyways, the start of my story about my Dell Precision Tower 5810 is right here.
